Biggest NBA contract of all time/Saquon Barkley’s new deal

This is the phillysportsblog not the Bostonsportsblog or any other teams sports blog, but I feel like this is a big day for the NBA and should be heard about. Jaylen Brown got the biggest contract ever for the NBA. He gets paid through the 2028-29 NBA season. He gets a little over sixty million for the next five years on a supermax extension. The Celtics probably could have gotten him for way less money but in their prospective at least they get to keep one of their star players in Jaylen Brown for a good amount of time.

Also, this is a big day for another Philly team rival in the New York Giants by their star running back Saquon Barkley signing his franchise tag. This is a very important signing for the Giants because without Saquon there nowhere near a playoff team without Saquon. For Saquon’s it’s nice that he signed the deal because he would not be very liked or as valued if he refused to play this upcoming season. So, it’s a win-win for both sides.
