Do Not Draft List.
Dalvin Cook– Dalvin will get lots of plays in September but I think Breece Hall is a better running back and will earn that number one spot back. Breece last season was a second rounder by the jets and was the number one running back for their team before he torn ACL. So, I would not count on Dalvin Cook in the second half of the season and the playoffs.
DeAndre Hopkins, Treylon Burks– The Titans do not have any star quarterbacks on their roster, and they had one of the least amounts of wide receiver touchdowns in the 2022 NFL season. Which means less points for receivers such as DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks. I would just stay away from any Titans receivers this upcoming season.
Cooper Kupp– The Rams offense was a disaster last season. They were hurt and not consistent. I don’t want to get anywhere near those players. Mathew Stanford was not good or heathy and their receivers just fell apart. As for Cooper with his current situation I wound not draft him. I know he is a former Super Bowl MVP, but I would not draft him this season.
David Montgomery– He is a backup running back for a young, athletic and outstanding running back in Jahmyr Gibbs and I don’t believe he will get that many touches this season. I would just not draft any of Jahmyr Gibb’s backups.
Russell Wilson– This offense was awful last season. Like the Rams I would not want to draft a Bronco this upcoming season. Last year everything was bad -their coaching staff, wide receivers, running backs and mainly Russell Willson. They did get a new and hopefully improved coaching staff. Starting by adding former Saints Head Coach Sean Payton as their new head coach. But after last season, which was Russell’s worst year season of his career, I would not want him on my team this season.
Non-first round players that will help you win this fantasy season.
Jahmyr Gibbs- The Lions drafted a -like I said- young, athletic and outstanding running back in Jahmyr. They would not have drafted him in the top fifteen picks if they did not think they were going to use him. Their staff were so happy when they drafted him which gets me excited about how they will use him. He could be the running back for their team and be their main running back to get receptions like Austin Ekeler who will be a solid top five pick for you in fantasy which is why if you draft Jahmyr in the third or fourth round he could be the biggest draft steal of the year.
Garrett Wilson– He is a great receiver that will likely be a second rounder for fantasy this season. He was a great receiver last season but now you’re teaming him up with a former MVP in Aaron Rodgers. Thats setting Garrett Wilson up for being a top receiver this season.
Options for the number one pick if you don’t want Justin Jefferson.
Travis Kelce– Travis had over one hundred more points than any other tight end last season. He has been the number one ranked end the last few seasons. He might be the safest player to draft with the number one pick this season if you don’t want Justin Jefferson.
Christian Mccaffrey– I don’t trust anything in the 49ers passing game this season with Brock Purdy as quarterback this season and I don’t know how much they trust him after his injury and being destroyed by the best team in the NFL the Eagles. So, I think they will really rely on their run game this season and who is better to count on for rushing more than Christian Mccaffrey who is the best fantasy running back this year. If you don’t want Justin, consider Mccaffrey.
