Boom: The boom of the class is former North Carolina star quarterback Drake Maye. He was drafted by the New England Patriots. He has great talent, and he comes from an athletic family. He needs to work on his footwork and accuracy. He threw 16 interceptions in collage, but if he rests this season, he could have time to work on his footwork and watching Jacoby Brissett he could learn to make better discissions. He reminds me of Justin Hurbert by his style of play and Josh Allen by his discission making. They are both top five quarterbacks, so Drake Maye could be a top five quarterback too. Drake Maye will need more receivers around him then he will have, but if he rests the season the team will have time to get good ones. If he starts early this season, I do not think he will have a good career, but if he waits, I believe he becomes a hall of famer.
Bust: The bust of this class is former Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy. He is on the Minnesota Vikings. He is accurate and a winner, but he depended on the run too much and in is situation they may not be able to have a run first offense. The Vikings due have Aaron Jones at running back, but that is for only one year. If J.J. McCarthy does not have that play action and run first offense he had a Michigan he will play bad and lose his confidence. That is why I believe he is the bust in the class.
