NL: Due to Atlanta Brave’s ace Spencer Strider’s season ending injury he cannot win the CY young, but the Cy Young award will stay in the NL east and go to the Philadelphia Phillies ace Zach Wheeler. Once he gets hot, he will rack up wins. He will easily beat other teams in the NL east like the Washington Nationals and the Miami Marlins. Zach Wheeler has a great catcher in J.T. Realmuto who knows exactly where the ball should go at all times, and he is a two-time gold glove. He has great fielders like second baseman Bryson Stott, center fielder Johan Rojas, third baseman Alec Bohm and left fielder Bradon Marsh. He does not have to worry about errors with Kyle Schwarber playing DH. The Phillies will do well this season and Zach Wheeler will get strikeouts. If last year’s winner Blake Snell could win the Cy Young Zach Wheeler can win for sure.
AL: The Baltimore Orioles traded for ace Corbin Burnes, and he will win the Cy Young for sure with the best catcher in the league in Adley Rutschman and great fields all over. He gets many wins and started off the season well. His field is good, and he gets many strikeouts. With Gerrit Cole hurt he has no competition. This is a very easy choice for me.
