Favorite day two players in 2024 NFL Draft

Edgerrin Cooper: He loves this game. He is super athletic at 6′ 2 and 230 pounds from Texas A&M. He is very fast off the edge and has all the talent for whoever drafts him. He may be a pro bowler in his rookie season. He reminds me of Devin Lloyd. I hope the Eagles draft him.

Marshawn Kneeland: He is a great run stopping edge rusher that makes his first hit count. He played for Western Michigan, and he dominated on the defensive side of the football. The team that drafts him is going to have a solid edge rusher that will elevate their defense. He may be the first edge rusher taken in day two.

Javon Bullard: He is small but fast from Georgia. He is a playmaker that will win you the turnover battle. At 5′ 10 he shows that you can count on him to dominate the secondary at the safety position.

Michael Penix Jr.: He is a quarterback from Washington. He has amazing arm and can go anywhere between pick 13 and the third round due to his injury history. He led his team to the Championship game where they lost to Michigan. After he transferred from Indiana State he became an outstanding quarterback, and he will start in the NFL at some point in the next two seasons

Max Melton: He is a cornerback from Rutgers. He can jump and play the slot or on the outside. He may be a day one pick. He did great at the combine, and I hope he falls to the Eagles on day two.

Ladd McConkey: He is a wide receiver from Georgia. He was their best receiver last season not counting playmaking tight end Brock Bowers. Ladd McConkey’s skill and route running will hopefully carry over to the NFL. He could be a day one pick.

Jordan Morgan: He is an offensive tackle from Arizona. He has great skill and technique. He also has size at 311 pounds. He may be picked as early as pick 24 for the Dallas, but there is so many good tackles in the class he may fall. He tore his ACL in 2022 so that may also be a factor. He will be a great tackle in the NFL.

Cooper Beebe: He is a guard from Kanas. He may go to Philadelphia Eagles. He has good size at 322 pounds and is wide. He does have short arms which may cause him to fall, but he will make for a great day two pick.

Bralen Trice: He is an edge rusher from Washington. There is not a lot to love about his size and athleticism but his tape was great from last season so teams may think he plays better on the field that he showed at the combined much like Florida State’s Keon Coleman who I have in the first round in my mock draft. Bralen Trice could be an important piece to any contender and would be a good day two pick.

Roman Wilson: He is an explosive receiver from Michigan. He is fast and a winner. At 5’11 he ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash. He will make a good receiver in the NFL.

Ricky Pearsall: He is a receiver from Florida. He is fast, small, and a good route runner. He ran a 4.41 at the combine He could be a great pick for a team. He may be this year’s draft day steal.

Xavier Leggette: He is a receiver from South Carolina. He is fast at 6′ 1 and he is fast. He ran a 4.39. He is a senior that makes hard catches. He can go late in the first round or be a day two pick. Whoever gets him get a stud at receiver.

Ja’Tavion Sanders: He is a tight end from Texas. He has the potential to be a good blocker. He is very strong and can beat any linebacker. He can be a great option on offense. He is most likely going to be the second tight end taking and he could be a future star.

Kamari Lassiter: He is a corner from Georgia. I think he could be the Philadelphia Eagles second round pick or the Los Angles Chargers. He can play zone or man to man. He is very athletic and could be a great corner in the NFL.

T’Vondre Sweat: He is a defensive tackle from Texas. He is tall, wide and strong. He was on a great defensive line at Texas. If he goes to a team where he is the second-best player, he can really beat teams second best guard or center. He will be a great pick for whoever drafts him.

Luke McCaffrey: He is a wide receiver for Rice. He is Cristian McCaffrey’s brother. He is small and fast. He can be a great slot receiver in the NFL and be a pro bowler just like his brother.

Jeremiah Trotter Jr.: He is a linebacker from Clemson. His father Jeremiah Trotter Sr. was a pro bowler in the NFL. He has great talent and football IQ. He maybe the second linebacker drafted.

Jonathon Brooks: He is a running back from Texas. If it was not for his torn ACL, he would be the first running back taken for sure. He creates big runs and could catch out from the back field. He would play great for the Dallas Cowboys. I am annoyed that he will play in the NFC east.

Troy Franklin: He is a wide receiver from Oregan. He is great at avoiding traffic and creating space. He was Bo Nix’s favorite target. He is fast and will make a great receiver for any team in the NFL.

Tyler Nubin: He is a safety from Minnesota. He is great at creating turnovers with his length. He can be a starting safety for any team this season. He may be the first safety taken in this draft and the best safety in the draft.

Zach Frazier: He is a center from West Virginia. He could be a starting center in the NFL with is size and strength. He can go as early as day on and as late as round three. I hope our Philadelphia Eagles draft him.

Junior Colson: He is a linebacker from Michigan. he plays with toughness, size and strength. He is exceptionally talented, and I hope he falls to the Philadelphia Eagles. He could be a pro bowler.

Cedric Gray: He is a linebacker from North Carolina. He has great length and is tough to block. He is another player that may be drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles on day two.

Cole Bishop. He is a safety from Utah. He plays with speed, and he has the potential to play man to man with receivers and tight ends. Most teams would be happy to draft him.

Blake Corum: He is a running back from Michigan. He is a player that gets downfield fast. He creates spaces. He is a winner and could be the first running back taken in the draft. He may be picked by the Dallas Cowboys.

Jaylen Wright: He is a running back from Tennessee. He is very small and very fast. He ran a 4.38 in the 40-yard dash. He will add speed to any backfield, and I believe any team would want this guy.

Devontez Walker: He is a receiver from North Carolina. HE is fast and small. He ran a 4.36 in the 40-yard dash. He creates big plays and could be great for the Kansas City Chiefs.

T.J. Tampa: He is a cornerback from Iowa State. He is a physical cornerback with long arms. HE could be a starting cornerback in the NFL. He could be good for our Philadelphia Eagles.

Ja’lynn Polk: He is a receiver from Washington. He has good size and could be a good receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. HE could pair really well with Travis Kelce and be a dominate receiver in the NFL.

Cam Hart: He is a cornerback from Notre Dame. He is a senior with great size which he takes advantage of when he is on the field. He could fall to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Trey Benson: He is a running back from Florida State. He has size and is very fast. He ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash. He could be great for the New York Giants.

Kris Jenkins: He is a defensive tackle from Michigan. His father was a four-time pro bowler. Kris Jenkins excels at one on ones with his talent and strength. He could be a pro bowler and be great for a team like the Atlanta Falcons.

Theo Johnson: He is a senior tight end from Penn State. He was their star on offense. He has a good frame and shows flashes of a tight end that can dominate a game. He could be a star for whoever drafts him at Detroit on April 25th.

Tykee Smith: He is a safety from Georgia. They had a great secondary with him, Javon Bullard and Kamari Lassiter but Tykee Smith was the star with his speed and good frame. He can be a ball thief for any team.

Will Shipley: He is a running back from Clemson. He shows lots of speed and he could be the best third round pick. He played track in high school and could be a star running back in the NFL.

Cade Stover: He is a tight end from Ohio State. He is a great blocker and if he is not the star of the offense, he can dominate the weaker defenders like he did at Ohio State. He could be a great tight end for a good team in the National Football League.
