With the 2024-25 NBA season coming beginning it is time to make my NBA Conference Finals and NBA Finals predictions. This year many teams have improved. Like the Philadelphia 76ers, the New York Nicks, The Oklahoma City Thunder, the Sanantonio Spurs and last but not least, the Sacramento Kings, but who will be good enough to make the Conference Finals? The answer is for the East, the defending Champion, the Boston Celtics and the Philadelphia 76ers. The Celtics have talent all around led by NBA superstar Jayson Tatum and Finals MVP Jaylen Brown. As for the 76ers, they have gotten a lot better by adding championship hungry, star, Paul George. With Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. there is no doubt that they will make the Conference Finals if heathy. The 76ers have had injury issues for a while, but I bet they will be more concretive this year by resting their players on back to backs. All for all, the Celtics will beat the 76ers in a six-game series to make it to the NBA finals once again. For the West, I believe the two teams in the Conference Finals will be the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Los Angeles Lakers. The Thunder are very young and open minded to improve. With star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander at the peak of his career they make the Western Conference Finals. As for the Laker, Lebron James will have one last run. Playing his heart out. When Anthony Davis and Jared Vanderbilt on floor they are an amazing defensive team. Even through the Lakers are an amazing team, The Thunder is just to overpowered will Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren at All-Star level and Shail Gilgeous-Alexander balling out, it is a no brain the Thunder are going to the NBA Finals beating the Lakers in a five-game series. That leads us to the NBA Finals. Celtics verse Thunder. I think this will be a sweep. The Celtics have too much experience for a young Thunder team. Sorry Thunder, you are just another year away. To sum this all up, The Celtics will once again will win the NBA Finals.
