J.T. Realmuto injury

The Philadelphia Phillies star catcher in J.T. Realmuto will receive knee surgery on his right knee. That means the two-time Gold Glover will miss about a month. The Phillies did call up a catcher from their Triple-A team, but backup catcher in Garrett Stubbs will take the lead role at catcher until J.T. Realmuto returns. As far as backup catchers go, Garrett Stubbs is a great one. He can steal and hit. Just like Trea Turner, we will be not as good as before, but still be one of the league’s best. The only problem is we play some good opponents coming up where he might really be needed. For example, the Baltimore Orioles, the Atlanta Braves and the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the rest of the matchups will be fine. To sum this up, without J.T. Realmuto we will not be as good and he will be missed against a few teams, but we should be fine without him for the month because we have a good backup catcher in Garrett Stubbs.
